Instructions
Prepare the Base: Combine the melted butter with the crushed cookies until it resembles wet sand. Press this mixture into a lined and greased 7-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while you make the brownie layer.
Make the Brownie Layer: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugars over low heat. Stir in the milk, then remove from heat and add the chocolate. Allow it to melt, then stir until smooth. Mix in the yogurt. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and other dry ingredients into a large bowl. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth. Pour this batter over the chilled cookie base and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is set. Let it cool completely.
Prepare the Chocolate Custard: Heat the custard until it’s almost boiling. Stir in the chocolate and let it melt, mixing until smooth. Pour this custard over the cooled brownie layer. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming and refrigerate overnight to set.
Finish the Dessert: The next day, spread whipped cream on top and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
